3. backing.
Step 2
Remove the backing, (run your fingers over the V on top of the masking if the vinyl is not coming off with the masking at first to help it adhere to the masking)
The "V" will be the first of the three to be installed

Step 3
Center and align the bottom of the "V" to the bottom of the emblem "V".
Once aligned and comfortable with the positioning run your finger over the right arm of the "V" from bottom up.

For the left arm of the V use/pull on the masking to line up the badgeskin with the emblem than run your finger from the bottom up.
Step 4
Do a complete run over the badgeskin to finalize the application and than remove the masking by peeling it off slowly as close to a 180 degree angle as possible.

Step 5
Center and align the bottom of the "W" to the top of the emblem "W".

Once aligned run your finger over the right arm(check mark) of the "W".
Use the masking to align the "W" as you apply the badgeskin.

Do the same with the left arm of the "W" and use the masking to align the badgeskin to the emblem.

Step 6
The application of the outer ring requires a little more finesse.
First cut the masking and backing out from the center of the ring as close to the inner edge the best you can like so.

Step 7
Start at the 12 o'clock position, center the ring and align the inner edge with the inner edge of the ring on the emblem.
(This step is crucial if the ring is not perfectly centered or aligned there will be a possibility you may get a little ripple at the end of the installation where in this case you would cut and overlap. 6 o'clock is where it is most preferred if a cut and overlap if required.)

Step 8
****this is very important****
Slowly work THE INSIDE EDGE ONLY of the ring clockwise keeping in line of the inner edge of the emblem from
12 o'clock to the 3 o'clock position.
(you dont need to press hard, and you should get only 2 to 3mm of the inner ring sticking to the emblem)
Now do the same counter clockwise from 12 to 9 o'clock

Step 9
At this point take a look at badgeskin to see if you are satisfied with alignment of the badgeskin, if not peel off, realign and repeat step 8.
If it looks good then run your finger over the badgeskin from inside edge to outside edge of the upper half you just laid out. This will apply the vinyl to the upper half of the ring.

Step 10
Due to the curvature of the emblem the masking will start to create tension when trying to apply the lower half, so at this point of the application you will need to remove the upper masking up to the 10 and the 2 o'clock position.

Step 11
Once this portion of the masking has been removed it will release the tension for the application of the lower half of the ring.
Continue with the application by aligning the INNER EDGE ONLY of the vinyl and the emblem. Use the masking to pull the vinyl into alignment.
Work to the 4 o'clock position apply the vinyl by running your finger over it than alternate to 8 than 5 and 7 leaving the 6 o'clock for last. As you apply peel the masking trailing the application a little.
(As mentioned in step 7 there is a possibility that you may have a ripple that cannot be worked out at the end so here is where you will need to cut at and overlap the ring.)

Step 12
After you have completed the application of ring and peeled the masking you will most likely find ripples like this on the outer edge.
Simply run you finger over them in a inside outside movement.
In very rare case would you require a heat gun or hair dryer unless you are applying the badgeskin in cool temperatures.
Or if you find a air bubble you can poke a fine hole with a pin and apply heat to exhaust the air.
